What we do
We’re proud of the meat that is raised in this province, and we’re proud to work with some of the best producers in Ontario. We’ve been lucky to partner with some great farmers who believe, like us, in raising their livestock with respect for the animal and the desire to produce for quality and flavour over efficiency and speed. We like to think of ourselves as a go-between, to help connect these amazing producers with the consumers in the Kitchener-Waterloo area who are looking for a local, ethical, and sustainable source for top quality meats.
Who we are
We’re butchers, we’re cooks and we love what we do. Our team consists of trained chef’s, ex-farmers, and experienced butchers who are passionate about ingredients and creating outstanding food. Have a question? We usually have an answer!
Why do we do it?
We believe that buying meat is a choice. Not only a choice to consume it, but a choice as to how we’d like it to be produced. We believe that if we choose to eat meat, we owe it to the animals that they be treated well from birth to your plate.
